When we face our own ‘Jordan Rivers,’ those seemingly impossible barriers in our lives, the message is clear: pursue the presence of God, not just the people who carry it. We’re challenged to examine whether we’re chasing after anointed individuals or after the Lord Himself. The instruction was simple yet transformative: ‘When you see the ark, go after it.’ We learn that moving from where we are comfortable is essential to pursuing God’s presence. There’s a critical distinction made between God’s omnipresence—His being everywhere at once—and His manifest, tangible presence that we can experience personally. Just as God dwelt differently in the Most Holy Place than anywhere else on earth, He invites us into that same intimate encounter. The blood of Jesus has torn the veil and consecrated the path into God’s presence. We don’t need to clean ourselves up first; we come as we are, and in His presence, He sanctifies us.
