Galatians | Truth of the Gospel | Week 8

What if the very thing we think empowers holy living is actually working against us? This message turns that question inside out by walking us through one of the most liberating truths in all of Scripture: that grace is not a starting point we graduate from, but the living foundation of everything God does in and through us. Drawing from Galatians and Romans 6, we are invited to see that when we were saved, something died. Not our dreams, not our God-given desires, not the best of who we are, but the old nature, the sin-ruled self that was never who we were meant to be. And in its place, something entirely new came alive. The message challenges us to stop treating the Christian life as an exercise in endless self-denial and to start understanding it as a walk into the freedom we already possess. Grace, we discover, is not permission to drift. It is the only power strong enough to actually change us from the inside out. We come away asking ourselves a searching question: are we living from the foundation of what Christ has already accomplished, or are we still trying to earn what has already been freely given?
