Resilience
What does it mean to truly bounce back when life hits hard? This message digs into the concept of resilience not as a self-help strategy, but as a spiritual reality rooted in who we are as believers. Drawing from Galatians 3:3, where Paul challenges his audience with the pointed question of whether they are so foolish as to abandon the Spirit for the flesh, we are invited to examine the very foundation upon which we have built our lives. The central insight is striking: resilience is not primarily about mental toughness or strategic thinking. It is about the source of our inspiration. When destabilizing events shake the world around us, what gets exposed is where our trust actually lives. If we have placed our confidence in governments, movements, leaders, or institutions, we will be shaken when those things are shaken. But if we have maintained genuine connection with God as our head, we have access to a realm of understanding and direction that the natural, unsaved mind simply cannot reach. This is not a special tier of Christianity reserved for a few. It is the default design for every believer. The question the message presses us to sit with is both simple and searching: in whom have we actually placed our foundation of trust?
